FAQ

FAQ

Can I lose my deposit?

No. Your principal is tracked separately from the prize pool and is always returned, regardless of whether you win. The worst outcome is that you save money and earn nothing extra that round.

How is the prize funded?

The prize is the staking yield generated by your deposit while it sits in the vault. It comes from Monad’s proof of stake reward, paid out via shMON. Nobody loses money to fund the prize. The staking layer pays for it. Additionally, some additional boosts to the prize pool can be sponsored by external parties.

What is the probability of winning?

Your tickets divided by total tickets in the round. 50 out of 500 is 10%. There are no bonus tiers or multipliers.

How long until I can withdraw?

Once a round settles, your principal is available immediately as shMON. There is no waiting period inside EverDraw.

The 1 day timer you may have heard about applies only if you choose to convert your shMON back to raw MON outside EverDraw. shMON is Monad’s liquid staking token, and converting it to MON goes through Monad’s epoch based unstaking queue, which takes around 18-22 hours.

What if no one buys tickets in a round?

The round is marked Skipped by the keeper. No funds are at risk and no prize is paid. The next round opens on schedule.

What happens to unclaimed prizes?

They sit in the contract until the winner claims. There is no expiry and no rollforward. The same applies to unwithdrawn principal. Take your time.

Is the draw fair?

Yes, and verifiable on chain. The winning ticket is blockhash(targetBlockNumber) % totalTickets. The target block is committed before it is mined, so nobody can know the winning number in advance. The full calculation is reproducible by anyone reading the contract.

Why are there two vaults?

So you don’t have to wait a week to deposit. Vault A opens every Wednesday at 13:00 UTC, Vault B every Sunday at 01:00 UTC. They run the same product on offset weekly schedules. The worst case wait for an open deposit window is around 2.5 days.

Can I move my deposit between vaults mid round?

No. Once you buy a ticket in a vault, your principal stays there until the round settles. After settlement you can withdraw and re-enter either vault on its next open.

Is EverDraw audited?

Not yet. A formal audit is budgeted and planned. The Security page covers what has been validated to date.

Can I buy tickets without the EverDraw UI?

Yes. The contract is verified on MonadVision and every write function is public. You can call buyTicketsMON or buyTicketsShmon directly with any wallet or library that speaks the ABI.

Does shMonad’s points program apply to EverDraw deposits?

Yes. EverDraw exposes a Merkl readable position surface, so shMonad’s points indexer tracks your active EverDraw principal automatically. You earn shMonad points alongside any EverDraw native rewards.

Is there an EverDraw token?

Nothing has been announced on this.

Why Monad?

EverDraw’s yield source is shMON, which exists because Monad has native staking. The protocol’s alignment with Monad’s staking is structural, not cosmetic. EverDraw could not exist in its current form on any other chain.
